Visitor guidelines

We encourage well-wishers for emotional support and recovery. To provide a restful and safe environment, we ask that visitors follow these guidelines:

  • Do not visit if you have a cold, sore throat, fever, COVID-19 symptoms or other illness.
  • Avoid noisy, disruptive behavior to help respect the healing of all patients.
  • Ask before bringing foods, drinks or items that might trigger allergies—like balloons, flowers or perfume—into patient rooms.
  • Wash your hands before entering a patient’s room.
  • Make sure all children have a supervising adult with them at all times.
  • Medical-Surgical, Critical Care and TCU Units
  • We offer 24-hour visitation to support our patients and their caregivers.
  • Two support persons at a time are allowed at the bedside.
  • Quiet hours are observed between 9:30 p.m. and 5 a.m. Nighttime visitors must respect patient preferences and privacy. Adjustments may be made to ensure a peaceful environment.
  • Minors under age 16 must be supervised by an adult who is not the patient. Minors are not restricted by age, but parents are encouraged to not to bring young children if possible. If young children do visit, these visits should be brief.
  • Emergency Department
  • One adult companion is permitted per patient.
  • For the safety of our visitors and patients, we may exercise judgement to limit or suspend visitation when appropriate for safety and care delivery.
  • Behavioral Health Units
  • Visitation is from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
  • Adult Unit: One visitor is allowed at the bedside at a time with a maximum of two visitors per day.
  • Adolescent Unit: Two visitors are allowed at the bedside at a time with a maximum of two visitors per day.
  • For patients on COVID-19 precautions
  • One visitor is allowed at a time and must use proper hospital-provided personal protective equipment. All visitors must check out with Front Lobby Security upon leaving. Thank you for your understanding and full cooperation as we attempt to limit the spread of COVID-19.
